sorry all of you guys, but Wild Rose is by far the best Moshava. Also, originally being from Los Angeles- you guys are wrong, not all West Coast Moshavaers go to Wild Rose- just all the cool ones!

Hmmm...how it works. Most of us BAniks from the US have only attended one camp, and each camp has its own quirks (as far as I know). I went to (and worked at) Moshava Indian Orchard in Eastern Pennsylvania for 7 years. Its a great place to go to camp, there is a lake, a swimming pool, and hundreds of Israeli mishlachat/shministim (pre-army 18 year olds). Campers participate in activities ranging from making falafel (chavaya Yisraeilit) to climbing wall, to music, to banana boating. Additionally, IO is special because of our amazing Beit Midrash program that takes some of the best rabbeim/morot and talmidim/talmidot from eretz yisrael, and puts them into a sort of mini yeshiva, which serves as the spiritual center of camp.

One of the other main differences is that due to the vast geographic area, you go to a camp based on where you live rather than your age. Each moshava has kids from grade 4-10, and only students entering grades 11 and 12 have a single, national program where they are in the same place.
