Bnei Akiva Year Programs in Israel

Bnei Akiva of the US and Canada is excited and proud to announce that we are expanding our well-known and successful Tochnit Tzion. We have partnered up with leading Midrashot and Yeshivot to offer every student a complete Religious - Zionist one year program in Israel. Our goal is to:

“Make your Year in Israel- a year in Israel!”

Our programs are aimed at familiarizing the participants with real life in Israel as a preparation for their return to their communities where they will take leadership roles within Bnei Akiva and in the wider community, and as a preparation for Aliyah.

For over 70 years, Bnei Akiva has had a part in shaping and training the future leaders of Jewish communities and of the Bnei Akiva Youth Movement around the world. We are proud of this role and proud of the work our participants do in support of Israeland especially commend those who have made Israela real living part of their lives.

If You Attend A Participating Yeshiva/Midrasha:

Yeshivat Boneh Yerushalayim-The exciting new Bnei Akiva Yeshiva for boys combining serious Yeshiva study with hands-on leadership training and volunteering experiences. All students at the Yeshiva will benefit from the full Tochnit Tzion experience, fully integrated into their Yeshiva schedule, and at no additional fee. Tochnit Tzion at Yeshivat Or Etzion- Or Etzion, the distinguished Hezder Yeshiva, run by the Rosh Yeshiva Harav Chaim Druckman, will now be home to a new Bnei Akiva Yeshiva Program. As a complete Bnei Akiva program, students will experience Tochnit Tzion at its fullest.

All Other Yeshivot/Midrashot:

Tochnit Tzion’s many Shabbatonim, seminars and special programming are available to all One-Year Talmidim throughout the year, regardless of the Yeshiva or Midrasha they choose to attend, adding the Religious Zionist emphasis for all North American students in Israel, as only Bnei Akiva can.
